Joshua Berg studied law at ›Universität des Saarlandes‹ (Saarland University), where he graduated in legal sciences. He then completed his Master’s degree in ›European and International Law‹ at the Europa-Institut at Saarland University. In 2019 he obtained his doctorate degree in law following the publication of his thesis »Discharge of Residual Debt de lege lata et ferenda« supervised by Prof. Dr Markus Würdinger.
