Cathrin Silberzahn works at the German Notary Institute (Deutsches Notarinstitut) in Würzburg as a research assistant. Previously, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Würzburg for the chair of Prof. Dr. Ralf P. Schenke and was the women’s representative for the Faculty of Law. She passed her state examinations in Bavaria and completed an accompanying degree in European Law (Europajuristin) and a Legum Europaearum Magister (LL.M. Eur.). During her studies, she was funded by the Deutschlandstipendium (German scholarship). She received her doctorate in 2020 from the Graduate School of Law, Economics and Society (GSLES) at the University of Würzburg under Prof. Dr Ralf P. Schenke. Her doctorate was funded by the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSS).
