AVKB-Edition

AVKB Edition

In the series "AVKB-Edition", older texts, monographs and bibliographies that are out of print or difficult to access are gradually brought together and made available as reprints in bound book form. The thematic diversity of the AVKB-Edition is oriented towards antiquarian bookshops and will include historical titles from the fields of law, politics, sociology, economics, philosophy and religion. Smaller texts will also be offered as free online downloads.

All books of the AVKB-Edition will be printed on non-ageing and chlorine-free bleached paper (1.5 times the volume, acid-free, wood-free, yellowish-white) and bound by hand using the cold-glue binding method after Emil Lumbeck (1886-1979).

The books are offered either in half-linen or booklet, each hand bound.

The half-linen consists of a textile linen base with a light plastic top layer in calico look and a light grain (Gaufrage), in green-blue petrol with gold-coloured embossing on the spine and marbled paper cover from the Scottish collection J. Hewit & Sons Ltd. (Livingston, West Lothian).

The light-brown brochure consists of a wraparound cover printed with "whip", the front cover and spine are embossed with the respective book title.
