Jan Nielsen studied Law at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel and the University of Hamburg from 2010 to 2015. His focus was media law. He also holds a diploma on Public Administration from the FHVD Altenholz. Before joining the academia, he worked in several positions in the local government administration. In 2017, he started his traineeship at the Higher Regional Court in Hamburg.
