Bernhard Hadank studied law at Freie Universität Berlin with a focus on Constitutional and Administrative Law from 2011 to 2016. Since 2016 to 2022 he has been a research and teaching assistant at Freie Universität Berlin, Chair of Constitutional and Administrative Law, Public Economic Law and Social Law (Professor Dr. Helge Sodan). Guest lectureship at the University of Wroclaw (Breslau) and at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (both in 2019). He received his PhD in 2021 with a thesis on functional self-government in German Health Law (summa cum laude). He has been absolving his Legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Court of Berlin (Kammergericht) with stations at the Federal Ministry of Health, at Gemeinsamer Bundesausschuss and at the law firm D+B Rechtsanwälte. Since 2022, he has been an in-house counsel in the legal department of Gemeinsamer Bundesausschuss.
