Martin R. Fischer studied law at the University of Hamburg and the Universidad Nacional de Río Cuarto (Argentina) with an emphasis on European and public international law. After graduating in 2012 he worked as a research fellow at the Claussen-Simon-Chair for International Law at the Bucerius Law School, Hamburg, followed by field researches in the European Levant. During his legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court, Martin Fischer worked amongst others for the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and the UNHCR Germany.
