Moritz Weidemann studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg; during his studies he focused on both corporate law and securities regulation. In 2015, he graduated from Freiburg Law School (Erste Juristische Prüfung). Subsequently, he worked as a research and teaching assistant for Professor Dr. Hanno Merkt, LL.M. (Univ. of Chicago). Moreover, he holds a master’s degree (LL.M.) from Columbia Law School (2017) and a Ph.D. (Dr. jur.) from Freiburg Law School (2018); Attorney-at-Law in the state of New York, USA. Since March 2018, Moritz Weidemann has been working as a Law Clerk at the District Court in Frankfurt a.M. as well as a research assistant at a leading German law firm.
