Helge A. Wiechmann studied law at the University of Bayreuth from 2012 to 2017, with a specialization in tax-, business- and medical- criminal law. His undergraduate studies included additional training in economics (specialization: taxes & corporate finance). After completing the Bavarian First State Examination in July of 2017, he worked as a research assistant to Prof. Dr. Nina Nestler and wrote his doctoral dissertation in the field of criminal procedure law under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Brian Valerius. As of 2020, Mr. Wiechmann has been a legal trainee with the Free State of Bavaria in the Bamberg Higher Regional Court District and is employed as adjunct faculty (postdoctoral teaching assistant) at the University of Bayreuth.
